Our Year End Appeal

December 6, 2013

Year End Appeal

We are honored that you chose the Benedictine Health Foundation as part of your charitable giving plans in the past. Your act of kindness has helped thousands of individuals throughout our communities. We thank you for giving us the privilege to expend those funds to improve the quality of health and spiritual care in Ulster County working with the Benedictine Sisters. In 2013, we broadened the scope of the Foundation’s Mission.

Please take a few minutes to DOWNLOAD OUR BROCHURE that outlines our initiatives to help the underserved of our community. We recognize the importance of our relationship with HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley (HAHV), and their role to sustain vital healthcare services close to home. We will continue to offer financial support for capital requests as prioritized by HealthAlliance that are in line with our Mission.

As our work continues, the need for your support also continues. The following services, programs and technologies are just a few of the projects we have identified to fund in 2014:

  • Expansion of Chaplain/Pastoral Care Services to serve all patients in HAHV facilities – $50,000
  • Medical Imaging PACS Monitor for the Fern Feldman Anolick Breast Center – $29,000
  • GlideScope Intubation Equipment for HAHV Operating Room – $7,500
  • New Comfort Room for HAHV Inpatient Mental Health Services – $20,000
  • Financial Assistance for patients currently receiving cancer treatment – $100,000+ (distributed through the Foundation’s Rosemary D. Gruner Memorial Cancer Fund)
  • Ulster County Veteran’s Services Patriot’s Project – $10,000

We ask that you please consider a gift to the Benedictine Health Foundation’s year-end appeal. Your continued generosity will demonstrate that you share in our Mission and focus to improve our community’s health and healthcare. You may make a secure on-line donation right here at our website via Network For Good or Contact us at 845-334-3186.

We extend our gratitude for your spirit of giving, and wish you peace and prosperity throughout this holiday season and in the New Year.

Sincerely,
