Kingston, N.Y. – May 24, 2018 – Benedictine Health Foundation’s 4th Annual Kick for Mental Health kickball tournament, coordinated by CLUBWAKA, will be held on Sunday, June 3rd at Dietz Stadium from 10am to 2pm.

Proceeds from the event will fund vital adolescent behavioral health and substance abuse programs the Benedictine Health Foundation develops in partnership with local educators and health care providers to address the challenges youth face to balance the pressures of adolescence, academic achievement, social belonging and family issues.

With the support of premier event sponsors, Hannaford Supermarkets, CLUBWAKA, iHeartMedia, Timely Signs, Ulster Savings Bank, Ryan & Ryan Insurance Brokers, Erie Insurance, Gillette Creamery, KeyBank, Begnal Motors, and Mobile Life Support Services, the goal is to raise $25,000 for programs offered in Ulster County school districts and community-based
settings.

Paul Beichert, 1st Vice President of the Benedictine Health Foundation and event Chair, stated, “We’re so thankful for the tremendous support and enthusiasm of our participants and sponsors.  18 teams comprised of high
school students, teachers, parents and community members will compete for the 1st place trophy, top fundraising awards, best  t-shirt design, and team spirit award.  The competition between the adults and the energized
high school students is fierce, but very friendly. Team registration is sold out, but we encourage spectators to come out and enjoy a really fun day to support a great cause.”
